Don't be that free rider

We all know or have been in the same group as a free rider.

Incase you did not know, a free rider is a person who obtains something without effort or cost.

They have also got to be the most annoying people to deal with. So, have you been wondering how you could deal with the free riders in your team?

Well, this is how you could deal with a free rider :

Diagnose the problem by talking to the free rider about finding out what could probably be the issue and brainstorming a possible solution.

If, there seems to be no improvement even after coming up with a solution, then it might be time to let your lecturer know what is happening.

Your lecturer will most likely take care of the issue.

However, in case they don't, you could always let the person in charge of student affairs in your department know about this issue.

You should remember that you should not be carrying the burden of a free rider and that there is a way to deal with this common issue.
